- The Wildlife Rehabilitation Society of Edmonton does fantastic work with helping out injured or orphaned birds and wildlife from in and around the city. They are now located in Spruce Grove.
Bird Observatories!
- Lesser Slave Lake Bird Observatory and the Boreal Centre for Bird Conservation
- Beaverhill Bird Observatory which is located north of Tofield, has some great bird banding and events going on each Spring and Fall.
- The Devonian Botanic Gardens located West of the city is home to wonderful people and landscapes. This is a beautiful retreat, if you ever want to leave the busseling city life for a few hours.
