Store History
The Wildbird General Store® was incorporated in December 1989 by John R. (Jack) Clements, Ph.D. and his daughter Ellen T. Scott. The store was originally located in the Strathcona area, and moved to it’s present location in July 1995. Lu Carbyn and Jaynne Carre bought the store from Jack and Ellen in 2001. Jack remains involved with the store as an Honorary Associate.
