Today, Sept.11, the Wildbird General Store received a call of a possible Great Egret in a pond on the south west corner of Beaumont.  The location was just south of Hwy 625 & immediately west of the main road into Beaumont, across from an Esso station.  Gerald Romanchuk went to check it out & saw the bird fly just as he arrived.  A possible Cattle Egret (maybe same bird) was reported Aug.29 from Sparrow L. (Four Seasons Park) in Beaumont.   Check some of the other water bodies in the area as it is probably moving around.
