On Mar.31, Gerald Romanchuk observed an imm. Gyrfalcon at GoldBar.  It had a full crop which indicated the bird had recently made a kill.  He also sighted 2 American Wigeon on the river which would be new arrivals.  The same day 2 Great Blue Herons were sighted at the Sundance Cooling ponds on the south end of Wabamun L.
On Friday, April 01, Del Huget sighted 2 Peregrine Falcons back at the hack box on the Clinical Science Bldg. on U of A campus.  Turkey Vullture sighted at Viking, Mar.30,
Gerald Romanchuk located American Kestrel & Snowy Owl NW of Beaverhill L. April 2. Moutain Bluebirds (6) seen at the Amisk Cr. bridge by Ken Hansen & also during the WBGS Hawk Survey April 3.
  Looks like spring is here!
