Don Delaney was at Murray Marsh just NW of Edmonton July 4, and reported seeing 30 Lesser Yellowlegs & a lone Husonian Godwit.  Several Avocets were sighted there as well, however these would not be migrants.  Hard to believe that birds are already starting to leave the breeding areas & summer has just started!
With all the rain in June there may be some good shorebird areas in flooded farm fields & shallow wetlands.  Only time will tell but it is worth checking out.
