Sighting: Pygmy Owl

Location: Acreage north of Wetaskiwin

Observer(s): Hardy Pletz

When: March 14, 2009

Notes: This owl has been hanging around the feeder, picking off the occasional Redpoll. Hardy figures it's been around all winter because he's noticed other Redpoll fatalities (feathers, etc.), but has never seen who's doing it. The bird does not appear to be singing yet.
