Around 5:00PM on Feb.15, an imm. Snowy Owl was seen sitting on a light standard at the junction of Hwy 21 & Hwy 16.  On Feb. 12, an imm. Northern Goshawk was observed in Kinnaird Ravine.  Their have been several this winter hunting ducks along the river at the GoldBar Water Treatment Plant.  This could be one of the same birds, or a totally new sighting.  Goshawks are fairly common during winter months in Edmonton ravines.
