On Saturday Sept 11 my buddy Corey Winkelmann and I saw a Great Egret sitting in a pond on HYW 625 just west of 50th street by the Esso station. It was standing about 20 feet away from a Great Blue Heron and was the same size, give or take a inch or two. The two body type were basically the same. We went back today sept 12, but the Egret was no where to be seen. I have pictures of it, if you would like to see them let my know.
