Standard species out to the feeders this morning when seed and suet was replenished: black-capped chickadees, white-breasted nuthatches, blue jays, downy woodpeckers, hairy woodpeckers, a few house sparrows and a red squirrel. Slightly out of the ordinary: a large flock of bohemian waxwings flew into the neighbourhood, eating some of the berries left behind on low bushes.
