The lake is not completely frozen, but the shore is hard enough (and the lake has receded enough!) that we were able to walk along it midday today.  We saw two small flocks of tundra swan (one with 9 birds, one with 6) roosting on the ice.  Later they merged and flew past us.  We also saw a pair of bald eagles, both of which were perched for a long time in a tree on the island north of the sailing club.  The walk ended with a decent flock (40-50) of canada geese flying over.
