 Northern Alberta Birding Hotline

The horned grebe is back on the lake at Lewis Estates, about one month later than I usually have his / her arrival recorded. In past years, we've had a breeding pair, they generally raise two babies here on the lake.

The American goldfinches arrived back yesterday — when the yellow dandelions bloom, the yellow birds return!
