First flock of redpolls for the season (near the little shelter on the Push Lake Trail), pileated woodpecker, flock of bohemian waxwings, numerous black-capped chickadees and juncos.  A couple of beaver (at noon, no less) breaking through the ice and working on a tree floating near their lodge.
