Last week I was with my daughter at the local tobogganing hill enjoying some winter fun.  At one point I looked at the shadow of a bird flying overhead and thought, 'that's a pretty big pigeon!'….and did a double take as I realized it was a Snowy Owl!  I followed his flight over the field and was thrilled to see that he landed on the roof of a house.  I rushed home for the binoculars and the camera and took a few shots.  He stayed on the roof of that house for several hours.  I am thrilled about the sighting!  I have some photos I could upload  - is there a way to do this?
